Most Kanchanaburi listings on GetYourGuide start in Bangkok, because that is where most visitors are. They are a sound way to see the highlights if you are short of time. If you are staying in Kanchanaburi itself, a smaller number of tours begin locally, and the national park and railway are also easy to reach independently — see getting there.
The picks below were chosen in October 2026. Prices are indicative “from” prices in euros; multi-day and private tours cost considerably more than shared day trips.

Booking tips
- Park fee. Erawan National Park charges foreign visitors an entry fee (around 300 THB at the time of writing). Check whether your tour includes it.
- Time at the falls. Reaching the seventh tier and back takes two to three hours with swims. Day trips from Bangkok often allow less, so decide in advance how high you want to go.
- Weekends. Erawan is extremely popular with Bangkok families on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Go midweek if you can.
- Animal attractions. Avoid any venue offering elephant rides or photographs with tigers. The province’s former “Tiger Temple” was shut down by the authorities in 2016.
- Respect. The cemeteries and Hellfire Pass are memorials. Dress and behave accordingly.
