GetYourGuide’s Khao Yai listings almost all start in Bangkok and include transport, which solves the park’s main difficulty: there is no public transport inside it. Review counts are lower here than for the beach destinations, and several products are private tours priced per group. If you are already staying near the park, local guesthouses also sell half-day and full-day wildlife tours directly.
These picks were checked in October 2026. Prices are indicative “from” prices in euros; the national park entry fee is sometimes paid separately in cash.

Booking tips
- Park fee. Foreign visitors pay an entry fee of around 400 THB per adult at the time of writing, plus a small vehicle charge.
- Guides matter. Animals are hard to spot in dense forest. A guide who knows where the gibbons and hornbills are feeding that week is worth the cost.
- Elephants on the road. Stay in the vehicle, keep at least 30 metres back, switch off the engine if advised and never sound the horn or use flash.
- Leeches. From May to October they are abundant on the trails. Leech socks are sold and lent locally and work well.
- Night safaris are run by the park from the visitor centre in the early evening and are usually booked on the day; sightings are mostly deer, civets and porcupines.
